Corrections and Complaints Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Report an error
Email the public editorial contact with the article URL, the specific statement you believe is wrong, the proposed correction and a reliable supporting source. Use “Correction request” in the subject and include a way to contact you. A disagreement with an opinion and a factual error are reviewed in their respective contexts.
How we review a complaint
The editor compares the published report with its sources and may ask the reporter, complainant or affected party for clarification. A complaint does not automatically remove a report. Decisions consider the evidence, privacy, fairness and public interest. If your message needs further information, send the missing evidence in the same email thread.
Corrections and updates
A material factual correction should be accompanied by a visible correction or clarification note. A developing story may be updated with an updated time and context. Minor spelling or formatting repairs need not imply that the underlying factual report changed.
Where a report should be withdrawn, access or publication status may be changed while preserving an internal editorial record. We do not promise to remove accurate reporting solely because it is inconvenient or attracts criticism.
Privacy, safety and copyright concerns
Identify any urgent personal-information or safety concern clearly and provide only the information needed to assess it. For a copyright claim, identify the original work, the disputed page and your authority to act. Do not email passwords, OTPs or unnecessary identity documents.
